My Bio:

Thanks for checking out my site. I hope you enjoy the creative works I make and share with the world. I spent the first half of my life around the Detroit area and the current half is being spent in the Kansas City area. I am the resident artist for Oak Park mall in Overland Park, KS. I also have a studio in Olathe where a lot of my inspiration comes from.

I am the type of  artist who loves to create big, bright, bold conversation pieces. My goal in art is to share my vision with the world. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums, but I do a lot of stenciling  and spray paint..It's my favorite. I am very versatile with what I can do, that’s what keeps things interesting...anywhere from a neo traditional street art style to more detailed portrait work. With our world today soo hectic, crazy, busy and bullyish...I use bright contrasting colors with lines and patterns in an attempt to capture the attention of someone racing by; encouraging them to slow down, even if it’s just for a second. If I can touch just one person with one of my paintings, then the painting was a success.

Another one of my passions is to mentor our youth. I've been working with talented young artists for about 10yrs now and it's one of the things that continues to fuel me. Some of my students have grown into young adults and with my help they have successfully gone into the work force, interned or entered collage pursuing art.

I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to create live paintings alongside musicians, bands, or during events. One of the coolest moments was painting alongside Wynona Judd up in the mountains in Colorado. I've taken 1st place in multiple painting contests and have been commissioned to create murals which can be seen throughout Kansas City. I was also commissioned to custom paint some shoes for the mother of Derek Norris, a Major League Baseball player.

I am always learning and am forever a student. I feel that the minute you stop learning is the minute you stop growing and improving...not just in your craft, but also in your life.
