This art program offers a positive, welcoming environment where students can explore their creativity and grow with confidence. Students will learn and enhance a variety of artistic techniques and skills while working at their own pace, allowing for both personal expression and steady improvement. More than just a class, it’s a supportive art family where students encourage one another, build friendships, and develop their unique artistic voice while continually improving their abilities.

Spring/Summer Schedule
Why Art Lessons Are Important
Calling all women 40 and up who've ever thought "I should get back into art" (or never quite got started). Join us for a laid-back watercolor hangout led by local artist Lyn Olson, who'll share a technique or two each session.
Adult Watercolor Classes

- Schedule: Tuesdays, 10am – 12pm & Thursdays, 6pm - 8pm
- Dates: Workshop Schedule
- Cost :$150 / session
- Session Length: 4 weeks
(Limited capacity...Maximum of 12 participants)
Feeling inspired? Give it a go. Feeling stubborn? Do your own thing. There's no watercolor police here. Beginners, improvers, and seasoned painters just looking for good company are all welcome.
Come for the painting, stay for the stories, new friends, and a happy accident or two. Bring your brushes, bring a friend, bring zero expectations (snacks probably included).

Why Art is Important
Fifteen years of teaching has shown me that "artsy" kids thrive when given dedicated space in small groups to build the skills that let their talent flourish.
ART is rooted in the idea that creative expression can foster healing and mental well-being. ART opens the heart and mind to possibilities and fuel imagination. My goal is to support communities and the youth by expanding imagination away from the lighted screen. I'm known for collaborating with students on their college-prep portfolios, instructing new art designs and advancing skillsets for young and mature artists. ART is a natural way for communities to come together and show appreciation for city events, grand openings, and social equality.
